Plymouth Park Renovation
UPDATE, MARCH 2025: THE PLAYGROUND IS NOW OPEN!
Situated along the beautiful Wappoo Creek, in the Historic Oak-lined neighborhood of Riverland Terrace, sits Plymouth Park. After over 20 years of lovingly enthusiastic wear and tear, Plymouth Park needs beautification and renovation to continue serving its community and all who frequent this beautiful Lowcountry park.
Update, March 2025: The playground is open! Still more updates are on the way, pending funding including landscaping, trash cans, bronze plaque, picnic shelter, and restrooms.
The Proposed New Design Improves the Layout of the Space. Details of the plan include:
• Creating an enhanced and updated playground
• Updating the fence around the playground for added safety
• Adding beautiful landscaping
• Updating and adding more seating and picnic areas
• Installing a restroom and water fountain
• Enhancing the public space along the waterway and within the park
• Improving parking and accessibility
