Pre-Spring Bloom Tour!

With temperatures finally warming back up this weekend, we recommend getting out in your parks and checking out what’s in bloom! While we are just at the precipice of seeing Spring florals on full display, there are some flowers throughout our parks that are already beginning to show off.
WRAGG SQUARE
We recommend heading to the Garden District and visiting Wragg Square, where you’ll find a stunning swath of daffodils, as well as other floral favorites, like the Lily of the Valley shrub, or Pieris japonica ‘Temple Bells’, throughout the Peter & Patti McGee Memorial Garden. COLONIAL LAKE
Then, take a nice stroll around Colonial Lake, where Okame Cherry Tree season has already begun and the fragrant white flowers on Mrs. Schiller’s Delight Viburnum continue to blossom.

Don’t forget – Teddy Bear Picnic is this Sunday at Hampton Park starting at 1:30 PM, with plenty of flowers surrounding Rose Pavilion, including our heritage camellia collection, on display. Join us for this FREE family fun!
See you in the parks!
