Wragg Square is one of the most historic parks in the City of Charleston, dating back to the early 19th century. The park is bounded by a historic brick wall and a finely crafted wrought-iron fence, and while the wall and fence create a beautiful setting, they also set the park apart from the street. As a result, its beauty has remained unknown to many Charlestonians.

The Conservancy, in partnership with the City of Charleston and with funding from The Colbert Family Fund of Coastal Community Foundation, completed a major revitalization of Wragg Square in 2024 in memory of Peter and Patti McGee.

The Conservancy continues to care for the park with on-going maintenance funding provided by The Colbert Family Fund of Coastal Community Foundation.
