Stephen Washington Park is a neighborhood park to the Honey Hill neighborhood, with a playground and baseball field. The Honey Hill neighborhood is a historically black community that includes roughly 100 acres of land north of Fort Johnson Road, between Dills Bluff Road and Seaside Lane. Starting in 2024, the Honey Hill Neighborhood Association is raising funds in order to transform and rejuvenate the Stephen Washington Park and green space.
