Rose Pavilion, named for the heirloom rose collection in Hampton Park, serves as a place for community gathering and a central location for park programs and private events. With generous support from the Speedwell Foundation, renovation of the physical structure was accompanied by an extensive hardscape renovation, including the creation of a large, terraced seating area surrounded by an heirloom rose garden in 2019.

The Charleston Parks Conservancy maintains the gardens surrounding the historic Rose Pavilion including heritage rose and camellia collections in addition to seasonal displays.

It is host to signature Conservancy events, including Shucked & Sauced, Teddy Bear Picnic and Picnic for the Parks.
