The outdoor section of the James Island Recreation Complex (JIRC) includes several softball and baseball fields, batting cages, two playgrounds, and lots of green space. The indoor sections of JIRC has two full basketball courts, aerobic and yoga rooms and an outdoor pool, as well as a fully operational gymnastics gym, The Charleston Gymnastics Center.
