Located just south of Hampton Park, Allan Park is a neighborhood gem. With benches, a beautiful fountain in the center and thousands of plants, trees and shrubs maintained by the Charleston Parks Conservancy and volunteers, this park has become a much-used space in the Hampton Park Terrace neighborhood.
In 2026, the Conservancy began fundraising for an Allan Renovation, collaborating with esteemed local landscape architect Cindy Cline of Wertimer + Cline to craft an updated master plan for Allan Park based on the community’s feedback. This plan focuses on seasonal interest, accommodating community events and upgrades to infrastructure and hardscaping to ensure the park will serve the community long into the future.
