Ackerman Park, located in West Ashley, has one of several dog runs located in the city’s park system. Pets will love this fenced-in dog area where they are free to run off leash. It also sports a youth skateboard park fitted with two quarter pipes, a raised center area, and some skinny railings. This park also has several fields used for soccer. Although it does not have a permanent restroom, it does have a portable potty.
