Outdoor Décor
Nothing says summer like an outdoor party. Whether it’s an impromptu gathering of friends for a backyard barbecue or a summer soiree you’ve spent three weeks planning, you can turn your outdoor entertaining space into something special – even if that space is nothing more than a screened in back porch and a small yard.
– Twinkle lights, twinkle lights and a few more twinkle lights. White lights draping your porch or wrapped around the tree trunks can make any space magical and elegant.
– Colorful cutlery – Trade the boring white paper plates and napkins for colorful plastic plates and cloth napkins. You’re not only helping the environment but adding a splash of color to your party. And don’t feel all the plates have to match – pick a variety of colors and patterns for extra flare!
– Candles – Similar to those white lights, candles give a warmth and inviting look. Hey, even bucket citronella candles look great – while also keeping the bugs at bay.
– Use what you have- Don’t be afraid to hang candles or small vases of flowers from the tree branches. Uses herbs as table centerpieces and be sure to add fresh cut flowers from your own garden to the mix.
