Grow it Forward started in 2014 to bring organic, fresh, free produce to those in need in our community. It involves produce distribution, cut flower donations, and educational programming to equip our community on healthy living through local harvests.
Through Grow it Forward, the Conservancy was able to create the first edible Food Forest in South Carolina.

Community Gardens
Cultivate community and your own plot in one of our three community gardens. Volunteer in the gardens to harvest, cultivate, and grow produce. All harvested produce goes to local organizations giving back to our neighbors.
Cut Flower Program
Changing lives in every bloom from our flower gardens. Volunteer to harvest and arrange bouquets for organizations helping women in crisis, or purchase a bouquet (seasonally) to support the Cut Flower Program.
Food Forests
The first of their kind in South Carolina, the Conservancy stewards two public fruiting forests to provide fresh, organic produce for neighbors in West Ashley. All are welcome to harvest as they need, at no cost.
