Our Plants are Thirsty and You Can Help

Relax, get back to nature, and do something great for your parks – all at the same time.

We need volunteers to help the Conservancy water plants in a park near you this summer. Relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery while helping to keep our gardens thriving. We planted many plants and flowers in parks around this city this past spring, and they need care over the hot summer months. Whether you can give an hour or make a weekly commitment we really need your help.

No experience needed- our staff horticulturists can teach you all the watering tips you need to know and the hours are flexible.

Watering: it’s cheaper than therapy or going to the spa! It’s good for you and good for the plants.

Help with watering in any of the following parks:
– Brittlebank Park
– Cannon Park
– Chapel Street Fountain Park
– Elliotborough Park
– Etiwan Park
– Gibbes Museum Courtyard Garden
– Hazel Parker Playground
– Marion Square
– Riverland Terrace Green Space
– Simonton Park
– Windermere Blvd. Community Garden
