New Board Members and Inaugural Advisory Council for 2025
In 2024, the Charleston Parks Conservancy welcomed three new board members and formed our inaugural Advisory Council.
Joining our distinguished board:
- Lisa Field, owner of Lisa Field Photography and noted guest lecturer for The Garden Club of America
- Angela Johnson, Director of Health at Trident United Way
- Leo Reeder, owner of Twenty6 Ventures, LLC and Manzanita Ventures, LLC.
The Charleston Parks Conservancy invited ten respected local leaders from diverse fields to form a new Advisory Council to inform how the Conservancy’s will continue to best serve the community in the future. The development of the Council began in the summer of 2024, with the goal of bringing together experts who share a commitment to improving Charleston’s public spaces. By leveraging their collective knowledge, the Advisory Council will elevate the Conservancy’s initiatives of fostering sustainable and inclusive urban landscapes, ensuring that Charleston’s parks effectively meet the community’s evolving needs.
