Magnolia Park and Community Garden Full of Blooming Beauties

If you haven’t been to Magnolia Park and Community Garden (or if you haven’t been recently), you’re in for a real treat. The garden is a sea of green with vegetables and flowers in full bloom. Don’t miss the sunflowers stretching to the sky, a welcoming beacon in this West Ashley park.

This week, volunteers assisted in the community beds harvesting red thumb potatoes for donation to Lowcountry Food Bank.

Here are some photos of the potato harvest plus pictures of some of the gardeners working in their leased beds.

The Conservancy is expanding the community garden program. Learn more about our new park-to-table efforts and how you can get involved.
