Fundraising Highlights – 2Q 2025

The Conservancy is pleased to report a 5-year high in dollars raised during the first 6 months of the year. Successful fundraising events and sponsorships have helped propel fundraising increases. Individual donations remained steady despite economic uncertainty.

Picnic for the Parks 2025
Picnic for the Parks sold out for the second year in a row and attracted 15 new sponsors in 2025. This year’s event raised $43,000 in support of the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s mission, a 9% increase from the previous year.
This fundraising event would not have been such a success without our incredible committee including: Alex Malloy, co-chair; Lauren Netter, co-chair, Katie Brennan, Abby Harding Lipsey, Elisabeth Hunter, Annika Moffit, Markey Mossman, Michaela Muller/Hob Nob Events, Jessica Perkal, Russell Powell, Kensey Rabun, Martina Radic, Laura Raffle, Alison Schmidt.
