What is a Friend of the Conservancy?
Friends of the Conservancy are monthly donors who invest in our parks through a year round commitment. Recurring monthly donations allow the Conservancy to effectively plan and manage cash flow and provide our organization with greater flexibility to meet unexpected challenges as they arise. This is especially critical as the Conservancy’s work is heavily impacted by unpredictable effects of flooding from storms, King Tides and other climate related events.
Your recurring monthly gift at any level qualifies you as a Friend of the Conservancy. Benefits include:
- Special recognition in our annual report and on our website.
- Friends of the Conservancy bumper sticker.
- Pre-sale access to our sell-out event tickets – including Party for the Parks which sold out in just 6 hours in 2025. (minimum $25/month)
- Exclusive pop-up event invites (minimum $25/month)

- Budget-Friendly: Do you love our parks and want to support the work of the Charleston Parks Conservancy? Monthly gifts are often more budget-friendly than a large one-time donation, allowing you to support our work in your parks year round.
- Convenient: Set it and forget it. Monthly donations are set up as automatic payments, making them convenient and easy.
- Flexible: You can adjust your giving amount or pause donations at any time.
- Sustained impact: By providing consistent, predictable financial support, monthly donors create valued impact by enabling the Conservancy to both respond to immediate, unanticipated park conditions and to plan long-term investment and care.

- Select “On-going donation” on the below form.
- Choose “monthly” (default selection) to become a Friend of the Conservancy.
- Designate your support as either an unrestricted donation by clicking “Support Your Parks” which allows the Conservancy to use funds where needed most OR
- Designate your support as a restricted donation by choosing from the menu of options.
- A monthly donation is not deemed a pledge and can be adjusted at any time.
- Consider maximizing your impact by selecting add 3.6% to cover our transaction fees.
