Pollinator Caretaker Volunteer Training at Medway Community Garden

Training Date: Saturday, June 8, 2024
Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

As a Pollinator Caretaker, you’ll step into a vital role in nurturing and preserving our dedicated pollinator spaces at Medway and Magnolia Community Gardens. These gardens are a haven for local pollinators including bees, butterflies, birds, bats, and other insects. Your efforts will directly contribute to their well-being!

Your Commitment:

  • Time: Just 3 hours per month
  • When: Two Saturday mornings per month, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am
  • Duration: Commitment is on a quarterly basis, with the option to renew

Proposed Dates, at both Medway & Magnolia:

  • June 8 (training) & 22
  • July 13 & 27
  • August 10 & 24

What you can expect from the training:

  • 1 Hour Hands-On Class: Learn about plant identification, pollinator identification, using the iNaturalist app, and habitat management.
  • 1 Hour Practical Experience: Put your new knowledge to work with hands-on tasks in the pollinator gardens.
