“Plants From Your Parks” Plant Sale

March 28 - March 30

Take inspiration from our beautiful park gardens for your home with the Conservancy’s first-ever plant sale! Expertly curated by Conservancy Horticulturists, this collection has been designed to help take the guesswork out of what to plant in your garden – no matter your gardening goals.   Plant selections thrive in the sometimes harsh conditions of the Lowcountry’s unique climate.

  • Have shade? Take inspiration from McMahon Playground, which has gorgeous hydrangeas and shade-loving perennials.
  • Do you love natives and have flooding issues? Our hardy Colonial Lake selections might be for you.
  • Fancy yourself the lord or lady of an English garden (but in a subtropical climate)? You’ll fall for our Rose Pavilion plant palette.
  • Homesteader? The Food Forest at Mulberry Pond Park palette will include fruit trees and shrubs. And the amazing Rita’s Roots will join us for all your veggie garden needs (tomatoes, peppers, herbs, compost, and more).
  • Love the bees? The Magnolia pollinator palette includes our favorite pollinator-friendly host plants.

Our expert Horticulture staff will be on hand to answer all your questions and help you choose the right plants for your unique garden. The amazing Rita’s Roots will join us for all your veggie garden needs (tomatoes, peppers, herbs, compost, and more).

Hosted daily from March 28-30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds help fund the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s continued beautification and maintenance of our parks.
