Join us for Jazz in the Park—an evening of smooth jazz, local fare, beer and wine, family-friendly lawn games, and more! This free community event is the perfect way to enjoy a night in the parks at Moultrie Playground near Colonial Lake, downtown Charleston.

Featured Artist: Rochelle Whitney Green – Rochelle Whitney Green performs various genres of music, namely Jazz and Bossa Nova. Green has performed at upscale venues like Halls Chophouse, Charleston Grill, and The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island. She has also performed festivals opening for Regina Belle, Gerald Albright, and appeared as a featured artist for the MOJA arts festival and the North Charleston Arts fest. Green loves to swing like Ella and sway with Brazilian Portuguese lyrics and rhythms.

Where to Park: Free parking is available around Colonial Lake and on nearby side streets. We also encourage walking or biking to the event, if possible.

What to Bring: We recommend bringing blankets, lawn chairs, bug spray, and anything else to keep you comfortable throughout the evening. Limited seating will be provided, so come prepared to settle in.

Food & Drink:

• Petit Merci will be setting up a pop-up shop and selling specialty, seasonal items.
• King of Pops: Strawberry Lemonade, Chocolate Sea Salt, and all your favorite flavors will be FREE to kids and families thanks to King of Pops and our sponsors, United Community Bank, Marshall Walker Real Estate, and Brooks and Erin Reitz.
• Wandering Taps will offer beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages for purchase. A valid ID is required for alcohol purchases.
