Our Medway Community Garden has been the home of our newest cut flower garden for over a year now – and we just can’t get enough!

Our cut flower garden provides bouquet donations to community partners such as Postpartum Support Charleston, Charleston County’s Free & Fresh Public Library and more. These donations are funded by our new Flower Share CSA program where community members can purchase a bouquet to take home.

We’re looking for volunteers to join our Harvest Helper Crew. Harvest Helpers care for the cut flower garden and harvest the flowers that are used for the bouquets. Shifts take place every Wednesday morning from 7-8am, weekly through November.

If you’re interested in signing up for these shifts, join us for our Harvest Helper training on September 20 from 7-8am. We’ll provide you with all the directions on how to properly harvest and water the flowers, and volunteers are welcome to take their own bouquet home!
