Corrine Jones Park Playdate and Informational Session
A Playdate with a Purpose
The Conservancy has exciting plans to transform the playground gardens at Corrine Jones Park into a sensory garden experience – and we need the community’s support to make it a reality!
Join us to enjoy an evening with your neighbors and learn more about the proposed garden revitalization at Corrine Jones. We’ll have our community gardeners on hand to answer questions as well as our horticulture team to talk about the exciting plans for the surrounding beds.
About the Sensory Garden
In 2025, the Conservancy will remove existing plant material from the beds surrounding the playground, including thorny roses, saw palmettos and sharp grasses and replace them with a sensory garden designed to engage the senses to create an immersive and grounding experience.
The proposed sensory garden will transform the playground gardens into a multi-sensory space using plants and materials that stimulate the senses in a gentle, engaging way. The goal is to create a natural educational space that enhances the playground experience and supports community and family interaction.
To support this revitalization effort, the Conservancy must raise $30,000 by December 2025. Read more and please let us know if you can attend at the link below.
