Cougars, Conservancy Partner Up in Cannon Park
When members of the community come out to support our work, it’s the perfect reminder of how great parks are for bringing people together.
The College of Charleston Graduate Student Association is supporting the Conservancy throughout the year as part of its community outreach program. The students are working with us in Cannon Park to renovate the large flower bed behind the columns from what was once the Charleston Museum.
Students will be prepping the soil, planting flowers and raising money to help offset the $5,000 cost. At 2 p.m. on Friday, students will be working alongside Conservancy staff to add compost to the soil and get it ready for a major planting project in April.
If you would like to support the Cannon Park renovations, please make a donation specifically to Cannon Park. Every donation helps!
