Charleston Residents Get First View of Wragg Square Park Plans
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston residents are invited to review the conceptual plans for the redevelopment of Wragg Square Park at the next Pride in Our Parks event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 16.
Charleston Parks Conservancy staff along with representatives from HLA Inc. landscape architects and the City of Charleston will be sharing preliminary plans for the Wragg Square renovation project. Local residents are encouraged to share their ideas and offer feedback on the park plans. This is the second of three events in which the public can offer input on the conceptual plans for Wragg Square.
“We encourage local residents to come to this event and share their ideas and suggestions based on the drawings we have so far. It just takes a few minutes to mold the future of your park,” says Jim Martin, executive director for the Charleston Parks Conservancy.
Wragg Square Park is located at 342 Meeting St. in downtown Charleston.
