Charleston Parks Conservancy Lets Locals Know About Hazel Parker Playground

The City of Charleston’s Recreation Department recenty celebrated the end of summer with a kid-friendly luau at Hazel Parker Playground. The Charleston Park Angels took this opportunity to spread the word about the new late spring garden. Many people still question who is responsible for bringing such a beautiful change to the park. With the help of a generous donation of lilies, mums and roses from the folks at The Flower Cottage, Park Angels gave out flowers as a way to start a conversation about the Conservancy’s role in making the garden a reality.

A big thank you to Crystal, Josh and Sandra for watering this summer. They gave all the new plants an opportunity to root-in during the heat of the summer.
