Charleston Parks Conservancy Hires New Community Engagement Manager

Megan Mills has joined the Charleston Parks Conservancy as the community engagement manager. She will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Conservancy’s community programming, which includes events and educational programs for all ages in Charleston’s city parks.

Prior to joining the Conservancy, Mills worked in the hospitality industry as a sales manager at the Hyatt Place + Hyatt House Charleston Historic District. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the College of Charleston.

Mills has lived in Charleston for the last 12 years and has been an active member of the community. She volunteers at MUSC Children’s Hospital and is on the board of the Friends of the Lowcountry Lowline. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, riding her bike, and spending time with her husband, Eric, and their dog, Trout.
