Cash In on Gardening at Hampton Park

I hope that you all had a chance to see Tony Bertauski’s article, “Cash in on Gardening at Hampton Park” in this past Sunday’s Post and Courier. He is right, Hampton Park is a wonderful place to see some of the many wonderful plants we can grow here in the Lowcountry. Stroll the pathways and all kinds of flowers you would have found in grandma’s yard are in full bloom right now. It always amazes me how things can look this good, this time of year! Makes me want to plant a few more flowers in my own garden.

This article brought to mind the upcoming Teddy Bear Picnic, also being held in Hampton Park on October 11th from 1-4. This free event is a great way to bring the kids to parade around with their Teddy bears and enjoy the pretty flowers!

We also need volunteers to help with this 1st time event. Ok all you wonderful Stewards of Hampton Park, come play with us on October 11th!
