Can You Dig It? Tickets on Sale for Conservancy Signature Fundraiser Party for the Parks
This fall, park lovers will be getting down and getting groovy at Party for the Parks, the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s signature fundraiser. Early-bird tickets are on sale now for this event coming up on Saturday, Nov. 3.
The area around Colonial Lake will be transformed into a funky street festival with the goal of raising money to further the Conservancy’s work renovating and beautifying public parks and green spaces around the City of Charleston.
Early-bird tickets are available through Sept. 30 for $85 general admission tickets or $200 for access to the Studio 54 VIP area. General admission includes food and open bar. The Studio 54 VIP ticket includes access to a private lounge with bar, signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. Beginning Oct. 1, tickets will be $115 general admission/$250 Studio 54. This event normally sells out, so advance ticket purchase is encouraged at www.PartyfortheParks.com.
Guests are encouraged to wear their disco superfly outfits so they jive with the disco decor and entertainment. Plus, DJ Moo Moo will be spinning favorite ‘70s tunes, so party-goers can boogie the night away on the dance floor.
Some of the Charleston’s finest food, beer, wine and spirits will be available thanks to the generosity of
5Church Charleston, Caviar & Bananas, Grill 225, Home Team BBQ, Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ, Little Miss Ha, R. Kitchen, Royal Cup Coffee and Tea, South Seas Oasis and Warehouse plus sweet treats from Cirsea Ice Cream and Sugar Bakeshop. Serving snacks in the Studio 54 VIP area are Charleston Chocolatiers, Harvest Catering and Hospitality Management Group Inc.
The party includes a silent auction with about a dozen curated packages and exclusive experiences.
Through a public-private partnership, the Conservancy works with the City of Charleston and community organizations, neighborhoods and engaged citizens to transform and activate the city’s parks and green spaces. The Conservancy is working in more than 25 parks, including Colonial Lake, Allan Park, Wragg Square, McMahon Playground at Hampton Park, Magnolia Park and Community Garden, Marion Square, and Medway Park and Community Garden.
