Brittlebank Park Goes to the (River)Dogs!

You might think planting 2011 bulbs on a chilly Friday morning would take a few hours, but not with our terrific volunteers from the Charleston RiverDogs staff. More than a dozen staff members came out to Brittlebank Park on Jan. 14 to plant daffodil bulbs. We can’t wait to see those 2011 bulbs in bloom as the RiverDogs kick off their 2011 season.

If your company or organization would like to volunteer in a park, particularly one near your office, please let us know. We would be happy to have your help. After all, these are you parks!

Thanks to the following RiverDogs volunteers: Melissa Azevedo, Noel Blaha, Ken Carrington, Harold Craw, David Cullins, Michael DeAntonio, Annie Fuller, Josh Gilkey, Andy Lange, Mike Petrini, Danny Reed, John Schumacher, Jake Terrell and Sarah Ward. Also helping out were Conservancy volunteers Wendy Bertani, Georgia Downey and Max Streeter.
