Kayla joined The Conservancy in 2019 and serves as the Volunteer Manager to support our dedicated volunteers in advancing our mission in the community. Before joining the team, Kayla served in AmeriCorps in the Volunteer Infrastructure Program with a small nonprofit in San Luis Obispo, California where she really found her passion for working with volunteers and connecting them with the outdoors.
Kayla is originally from Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from West Chester University and has since returned to the east coast to continue pursuing her passion here in Charleston.
