Though his horticulture career started later in life, Elliot Acevedo found a love for plants at a young age by curiously watching and helping in the gardens of many of his loved ones. Following high school, Elliot worked in an industrial setting but eventually decided to pursue his passion for plants. After receiving a Horticulture Degree from Trident Technical College, Elliot took a position with one of Charleston’s historic gardens. Following working for the historic gardens, Elliot accepted a position with a premier residential landscaping company before joining the Conservancy. Outside of work Elliot enjoys bike rides with his family, going to local shows, and spending time in the great outdoors!
