Becca Hudson

Horticulturist

Email

Becca joined the expansion of the Conservancy’s Horticulture team in June of 2021. She is a Charleston native who graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Anthropology, with a focus on Archaeology. After years of traveling the country as an Archaeologist, she decided to further her interest in the ethnological connection between people, plants, and parks. This led her to work as a Horticulturist with a local plant nursery as well as an Educator at Middleton Place National Historic Landmark.

At the Conservancy, you can find Becca working alongside the Park Angel volunteers and helping maintain the beauty and design of the Conservancy parks. She finds excitement in engaging and educating the community with the beauty of the outdoors. In her free time, you can find her traveling, creating floral designs, reading, and spending time on the ocean.
