The Staff of the Charleston Parks Conservancy are incredibly dedicated individuals who care about conserving our parks for all people.
Mary Horton
Education Coordinator

As education coordinator, Mary Horton develops and manages the education-based programs that support the mission of the Conservancy.
Most recently, Horton served as the interim director of family and children education at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church in Columbia, S.C. A Waynesboro, Ga., native, she received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a masters of science at Louisiana State University.
Horton enjoys reading, canoeing and being outdoors. She lives on Daniel Island with her husband and their two children.
