After several months of planning and fundraising, work on the redevelopment of Corrine Jones Park is taking shape. The new playground equipment has been ordered and is expected to be installed this fall. The Corrine Jones neighborhood has been working tirelessly to help us raise the money for this project. In fact, they met their first goal of $20,000 and now are working to raise another $5,000 to add a covered space near the tennis courts.
It’s been exciting to watch the neighborhood come together for a common goal of improving their neighborhood park. To celebrate, they are a block party this fall. Stay tuned for more details!
