Connecting people with their parks

Etiwan Park

The focal point of this neighborhood is a seven-acre park owned by the City of Charleston that features large playing fields, basketball and volleyball courts, amphitheater and an extensive playground. Restroom facilities are also available. Although the Park is reletively new, the tree canopy is beginning to take shape. Medium sized live oaks line the park parimeter in the neighborhood side.  The pocket garden, installed in late June 2009, adds a colorful floral display at the entrance on the neighborhood side of the park.  Learn more about the pocket park planting at My Island Town.
