Now that spring is upon us, this is the perfect holiday to soak up the beauty of Charleston this time of year: Take a Walk in the Park Day. Technically it’s March 30 but we’re happy to celebrate any day of the year.

As we approach our annual Park Week, it’s time to celebrate all the terrific city parks and green spaces we have right here in Charleston – some 120 to be exact. So there’s no excuse not to slip out to the park for a quiet walk, a stress-busting run or a picnic with the kids.

We love it when parks and green spaces get a roll on the silver screen. We here at the Conservancy know people have such strong connections to their neighborhood and city parks so it makes sense those same parks would show up in the movies.
