Where there were empty vegetable plots now lies a garden full of fresh produce.

A few weeks back, we were cleaning out the leaves caught over the years in the clumps of cast iron plant, Aspidistra elatior 'Milky Way' under the live oaks at Chapel St. Fountain Park. This was around the time where it had rained every day for the last two weeks, wet, wet, wet??????everywhere.

The wand was waved over the Windermere Plaza and abracadabra, the proverbial rabbit popped out of the hat! Well, maybe it didn't happen quite like that, but the community garden at Windermere IS alive and kickin' with the colors of Spring... almost overnight!
