A native Charlestonian, Liles has enjoyed the city’s parks from an early age. With fond memories of riding the merry-go-round at East Bay (now Hazel Parker) Playground, playing tennis at Moultrie Park, and catching up with friends while walking around (and around) Colonial Lake, she believes that parks are an essential part of every neighborhood and provide enjoyment to people throughout their lives.
