Make a Group Impact in Charleston Parks

marlon kimpson

Over the last year, we’ve had several businesses, schools and civic groups volunteer with us. We pride ourselves on providing a well organized and meaningful volunteer experience for our group volunteers and we appreciate how efficiently they help us accomplish the work we need to do.

Employees of law firm Motley Rice have given time to the Conservancy as part of their community outreach program, ProjectGO!, which allows employees to donate a workday volunteering for organizations and nonprofit groups.

“Giving back is an essential part of the Motley Rice culture. Our mission is to go beyond the office and courtroom walls to better our community,” said attorney and state Sen. Marlon Kimpson. “The Charleston Parks Conservancy was a highlight for ProjectGO! in 2013 and we look forward to many more opportunities to share our heads, hands and hearts in working for a better tomorrow.”

Good to see Motley Rice and the legal profession giving back to the Charleston community.
