It is great to see MUSC taking a step forward in the green movement. In an effort to improve thier sustainibility, they hosted a week of events to educate their staff and students. Today the Parks Conservancy set up a display in the library (the horse shoe was really wet) and we met several MUSC students and employees and talked about composting. Many who work in this area of town are interested in Cannon Park at the corner of Calhoun Street and Ashley Ave. Cannon park is one of the Park Angels project sites. As the new raised bed median goes in there we will be planting it as well as adding a bed on the park side around the new sign. Thanks MUSC for having us and we look forward to working with you to beautify our parks.
